The main attraction in this game is the titular X Up mechanic. Those familiar with Alchemy’s back catalogue will know that it has used the feature before with Africa X Up. Thankfully, it hasn’t just recycled it here – it has actually built on it.
In the game, the X Up simply acts as a Scatter. Landing two of them will add one to the metre on the left-hand side. The metre starts at a 2x Multiplier and finishes with a 50x Multiplier, which is a step-up from the 25x in Africa X Up. When you land three X Up symbols, you will trigger the Free Spins Round.
You will be rewarded with an initial 8 free spins, and whatever Multiplier you are on will then be applied to the Free Spins Round. During the round, you can still continue to build the Multiplier. Anytime you land two X Up symbols, you will also get two extra free spins.
