While this partnership will help to improve FanDuel's sports data and content offering, it will also help Genius Sports to expand its already enormous reach in the sports technology sphere.

According to the press release that announced the partnership, in April 2021, Genius Sports became the National Football League's 'exclusive live streaming partner and distributor of real-time official play-by-play statistics', while FanDuel became one of the NFL's official betting partners around the same time. Basically, this partnership was a match made in NFL heaven.
